kalpesh Many web sources report that the company is developing a Nintendo Wii game console next generation. It is rumored that one of the features of the console will become the optical drive with support for standard Blu-ray. The modern model of attachment which we recall can only work with single-and double-layer 12-centimeter discs for Wii, as well as with 8-inch – for the previous generation gaming console Nintendo GameCube.
It is noted that the new Wii will support resolutions up to 1080p (1920 × 1080 pixels). Apparently, the device receives a digital interface HDMI. If we believe the resulting web of information, the announcement of the next-generation Wii will be held in 2011.
By the way, Nintendo announced on 10th August 2010 that sales of Wii only in the U.S. market exceeded 30 million units.
